I am a new seller on ebay and Paypal is asking me to send the items purchased before funds are released to me. Thats crazy. I will not send anything until funds are released to me. Why is it like that with ebay/Paypal?

Hi,
They hold the funds for UP TO 21 days, that means you need to ship asap with delivery confirmation, upon proof of item delivered or buyer posts feedback that is when your funds are released. They do this with either new sellers and or high priced items esp electronics.
The sooner you ship the quicker you’ll get paid.
They dont hold the funds for 21 days, they actually hold them for 60 days if you read there terms and conditions.
if you know or not paypal will suspend your account for the smallest of the smallest of the smallest thing, if you send paypal an email they will suspend you for bothering them, and i dont know if anyone knows this but this statement is a fact,
When you sign up for a paypal account lets just say your verified but your account has only been open about a week and half, then you receive a big amount of money (lets say £170) in your account, as soon as that money hits your paypal account paypal will suspend your account and ask you to go through the verification process cause you’ve received a high amount of money but your account has only been open a week and half, thats a fact, and it has happened to over 5000 people within the last month, Paypal have also been on the news in america for ripping one woman off, this is why everyone is turning to google checkout and moneybookers now, safe and secure like paypal but not much of the hassle.
I was wondering as well. I found out it’s because the longer they keep it, the more interest they make at the bank. A little weird but it’s the fact.
