i want to try and start a site to sell things or what not, i just someone to explain to me how paypal works i have a friend that knows how to run, and make web sites, but hes not skilled enough to do paypal, id like to make some cash, but without paypal we cant, so both of us were wondering how to set it up, and how to use it, and how it works.

how paypal works is like this, paypal is like a bank account, people have money on it, or it’s connected to a checking/savings account or to a credit card so they can add funds to their account, so basically what happens is, when someone buys something and they pay for it using pay pal, the money goes directly in your paypal account, which you can then transfer to your bank account or like i did you can get a paypal mastercard which you can use at stores and stuff just like a regular mastercard. paypal is free, except when you sell stuff on ebay, then there is a slight charge, but not much.
To set up paypal you need an email address, your home address, and a valid credit card and or bank account to link to it.
When you set up a bank account on paypal, money is put into your paypal account. You then can have an option to deposit it into your bank account, which will usually take about 5 working days.
