I want to know if you can pay the seller directly from the money that you have stored in your PayPal account instead of having to pull it from your bank account.

Actually, if your PayPal account has a balance, you will be required to spend that money first before you’ll be allowed to use a credit card or any other form of instant payment. Now lets say you have $50 in your PayPal balance but you want to by an item that’s $75. Basically the first $50 will come from the balance and the remaining $25 can come from your bank or credit card.
