I sell a few bits from time to time on Ebay but have recently had a bad experience with Paypal. I no longer wish to use Paypal but because my feedback is only 88, Ebay states that I have to offer Paypal at the moment. Can someone tell me when I won’t be forced to use Paypal? Many thanks in advance for the replies.

Never. It is the new rule – you have to offer paypal. It is the reason some ebayers have stopped selling on ebay. Ebay see paypal as the safer option and, as they own it, it works out better for Ebay if you use paypal
You can stop using ebay, lots of people are fed up with paypal. Here’s one of them:http://www.bidville.com/
Here’s a news article about it:http://www.usnews.com/articles/business/…
I am not personally connected with either of those sites.
I’ve been trying (with very little luck) to put together a workable alternative for freelancers (like myself) who want to use pecunix and e-checks/visa as an alternative to paypal.
If you understand e-checks and that whole mess (or know someone who does), PLEASE get in touch with me!
I don’t mind paypal so much (yet) but they’re demanding too much personal information and I’ve read an awful lot of horror stories about them – I think the reason people trust them so much is just because so many other people trust them.
