I have had a paypal account for years without issue. If you want to do more with your account you need to provide Infomation such as bank account if you want to transfer funds to yourself. But you can also get a paypal credit card via them and withdraw money that way.
You should be able to create payment buttons for your website that you can enbed yoursite to accept payment. I would go for it.
