some are interested in purchasing my item from craigslist but they want to do it with paypal and they want me to ship my item overseas or to a different state saying that they would give me more money due to the shipping cost. im scared of all of these offers being a scam. is it safe? or should i do cash only, in person?

I think its the Nigerian scam,one of the oldest scams on the book,DONT do it!! they will steal your money and your items
That is definitely a scam, Don’t fall for it! If you don’t believe me, read this blog at http://www.howtobeatcraigslist.uni.cc and it explains all the different scams that take place on Craigslist. After reading that, you will be better able to see through the scams. Also, any payments through PayPal can be charged back and you would loose your money and merchandise.
