I bought an item (for 43 pounds) from a seller from ebay using ebay (which i pay instantly using debit card). Due to some reason, the seller had to change the amount that needs to be payed by me (to 50 pounds). I agreed and the seller refunded my 43 pounds. I made a mistake and paid the seller 43 pounds again. Then the seller refunded my money again and he sent me an invoice and i paid the 50 pounds. Everything went well until i checked my bank account. 86 extra pounds was missing. I checked my paypal history and it stated that the two times that i paid 43 pounds had already been refunded (when i clicked further details it said the payment was temporarily hold by paypal). However the money hasnt been added to my bank account. When i asked ebay about it, they said that i have to manually transfer from my paypal balance. however my paypal balance is 0 pounds. More than a week has passed and my bank account has still the same amount. Can anyone help me? Thank you very much.

What is a temporary hold by PayPal?
If you authorize a payment to a merchant and hold a balance in your account at the time the payment is made, the balance funds used for your purchase are placed on hold by PayPal until the merchant processes your payment. If the merchant cancels your payment, or allows your authorization to expire, the temporary hold is removed.
