What Are Other Online Payment Services Instead Of Paypal?

分类: PayPal FAQ   时间: 2009-08-16   标签: , , , , , ,

Been an ebay’r for years now and I have finally hit my end with Paypal. Done with the lies, errors and customers service they claim to represent.
What is another or other online banking services I can use when I sell items? I know money orders, checks, but need that other digital bank.
Any and all names would be helpful so I can look into them tonight after work.
Thanks

CapitalOne is free, but I don’t know about using it for eBay. It’s mainly for bill paying, but you can check it out:http://www.capitalone.com/bank/services/…

Haven’t seen most of these used on Ebay but:
    2Checkout
    BidPay
    E-gold
    Google Check out
Unfortunately, regarding eBay (as a seller), Paypal just about has a monopoly. You will realize that some buyers will stop buying from you simply because you no longer offer Paypal as an option.
My advice would be to offer Paypal as an option ONLY for low-priced items and NEVER for Local Pick-Ups.
If not, I think BidPay is the second most popular.

    I use Google Checkout:http://checkout.google.com
and like it very much. It has limitations, e.g., you cannot set up subscription payments, although I imagine they will add that feature eventually.
If you do Google Adwords advertising, a Google Checkout image appears on your ad, which has increased my CTR and CR (Click Through Rate and Conversion Rate).
For the next 7 weeks there is no fee to use Google Checkout. Starting with the new year (2008), they’ll start charging fees although I’m sure they will be competitive with PayPal’s rates.
I’ve also experienced problems with PayPal and I’ve heard of many online business folks who have had several thousand dollars frozen in their PayPal accounts for months because one or two customers filed unfounded complaints.
I did recently call PayPal customer service and the woman with whom I spoke was very helpful so maybe there’s hope. ;)
Will eBay let you use another service other than PayPal, which, as I’m sure you know, eBay owns?
    All the Best,

Unfortunately, the others don’t have overall versatility that PayPal has, are relatively obscure or unheard of and are like “Brand X.”
