I need to put money on paypal for an online game. However, I’m too young for a credit card and I have no access to my bank account (obviously I’m young). Is there any other way to put money on a PayPal account (a way that verifies the account as well so my sending limit is above 0.00)? Like, via some sort of gift card that I can purchase at a store or something?

Paypal will not allow this! its a safety feature. In order for them get paid and for you to get paid, there has to be an EFT (electronic funds transfer) account on file. You gotta pay to play! ask your parents for a bank card. Set up a separate account in your name and tell them to put a little bit of money in it. As long as you’re not doing something you shouldn’t be doing they should not have a problem with it!

Having been a Paypal member for 10 years now I can safely say there is, unfortunately, no way to do this. Some will claim you can use a prepaid Visa or alike but as you’ll find out upon trying, Paypal will deny it. Have you asked your parents if they’d simply set it up for you? You don’t need to access the account/credit card on file…just need it to verify yourself and your personal information.

The fastest and easiest way to do this would be to ask your parents if they would let you use their card
echeck or money order
