I just sold an Item on ebay for $155.00, and I put my only method of payment was through paypal, and I’m about to send him an invoice from ebay, saying I only accept pay pal, but do I need to do anything Special to my account before I can accept a payment?

No, if you have a paypal account already set up, you are good to go! I was nervous about that the first time i sold something on ebay too. Just send the invoice and once he pays it will go right into your paypal account
also you do not need to verify chequing/savings account when you use paypal like that chick up above just stated.
No you do not need to do anything else, it will state this in the invoice that you send from eBay, as you should have stated it in your auction when you listid the item.
Also make sure you have a Premier PayPal account in case the buyer pays by credit card, if you have a personal PayPal account you will not be able to accept the payment if the buyer pays by Credit Card until you upgrade your PayPal account to a Premier account.
Make sure you enter your account information, like where they need to put the money (i.e. checking account) Is that what you mean?
