Currently, I have no other bids on my item so i could cancel it and sell to this other guy. The amount of money he’s offering is more than what I paid for my item new 3 years ago. As the seller, am I at risk by giving this person my Paypal info? I’ve got 2 from Ebay(with good scores) and 1 from craigslist asking for my Paypal info.

I would say no.
Be very wary of people asking for rush shipping and anybody who is willing to pay more than the asking price. Just ask yourself, why would anybody want to pay *more* than the asking price? It’s because these people are almost always scammers. What typically happens is they will pay an exorbitant amount of money for the item, and maybe a month later, they will file a chargeback and they will win because PayPal’s seller protection policy is absolute ****. Read up on it.
eBay says if they found you on eBay, they pay you on eBay. Doing off eBay deals violates policy as you are cheating eBay out of the final value fee.
Listing the item on both eBay and craigslist was ill advised. if you fail to cancel the auction on eBay, you can sell it the item twice.
That said, people on eBay should bid. Private emails offering you more money if you don’t go through eBay often indicates the item is worth far more than you realize.
No, I wouldn’t take any offer to sell anything outside of eBay. This is sometimes a route people will take if they want to scam you somehow. If he wants the item he can buy it through eBay.
Tell him to bid on the item or piss off. This is how scammers work. Report him too.
NO!!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!
