I added my account yesterday and Paypal sent test deposit today, but it wont show up until tomorrow or tuesday. If someone wants to send me money tonight, will it still get to my account, or will paypal hold it until I confirm the test deposits?

Yes, you can receive the money that the person is going to send you. It will be held in your Paypal “account,” then when you verify your bank account you can Withdraw the money to be transferred to your bank account (which will take 3-4 business days).
I don’t think the money will show up in your account until you verify. If it did and you never verified or gave them a phony number, it would create big problems for them to straighten out. Verification is easy to do and won’t take you long. Once you have verified, they will probably deposit the pending payment into your account.
