Paypal sent me an email saying that the person who bought my item has sent the money but paypal have put a temporary hold on my money. I havent sent the item yet and im not sure if i should or not send it until i get the payment into my account.If you need to read the email tell me and i will post it on here.Thanks for any help.

You must be a fairly new seller… PayPal has started this to protect buyers from scammers who start up accounts, take the money – and RUN… it’s sad that it had to come to this & ruin it for the decent people that want to start up a business. If it was like this 5 years ago when I started selling on eBay – I would have QUIT!! There are MANY online selling websites out there… just Google & you’ll find them!
I know how you feel, the sad thing is is that you wont get ANY money unless you ship the item first. And then you are exposed to the risk of them saying they never received the item and then you would lose money(believe me) its happened before!
I dont trust paypal anymore after they say My account is negative $838, for god only knows what.SADLY i have to pay them or it will go on my credit, they are a RIP off if you plan on selling anything!
Cookie is right. They are holding your payment until your transaction is completed. i’ve also heard that they mainly do this on what ebay calls “high risk” items. (at risk for scams, not recieving payment or item..bs like that)

Ya. They do that now until the person confirms they received it and it is acceptable. I HATE that.
