Paypal Has Violated Their Own User And Legal Agreements. Is There Anything I Can Do About It?

Paypal put limitations on my account, thats fine and all but in the user and legal agreements it says that Paypal can hold the funds up to 180 days but no longer. Its been almost 190 days and after several phone calls and emails Paypal still has not released my funds. Just wondering what options I have legally.

I have heard of similar complaints. I’ve even heard of PP taking unauthorized funds from accounts and in each case, the customer ended up with no resolution.
I guess if you opt to get an attorney, which of course, is expensive, you may not have any luck. Sorry, wish I could help.

The most severe limitations to cover chargebacks or buyer complaints warrant a 180 day hold on a balance. Depends on what your account was limited for. Normally they are good about releasing the balance on 180 days or a little bit before. If you do not have a bank account on your paypal or you cannot prove your identity it may take longer. Insure that it has been 180 days from the day your account was limited till current day. If it has call and have them put in a request to have your account issue reviewed regarding your balance.

Try to find other people this has happened to, and start a class action lawsuit.
