I bought a jacket on Ebay when i received it, it looked nothing like the picture i emailed the seller and they said it was the only coat they had so it had to be the right one. I took a picture to prove it but i had no reply. So i started a dispute, Just had an email to say the seller has refunded. Do i now need to send the coat back to them? They havent sent me an email and who pays for postage?

I would think so, but does it instruct you to return the coat at all? You should probably contact eBay or Paypal to verify. There’s a Contact button for these websites and you can email them or chat with them. You can also call them, but it may be hard to find their number (sometimes these companies do this to filter the amount of calls they get). Usually on eBay the Buyer pays postage if they are returning back the item. It should say on the original Item listing under ‘Returns’.
To be fair to the Seller you could say you are willing to send it back if he sends you the P+P, why should you be out of pocket for an item that wasn’t described properly.
If he is a Business Seller, he has 30 days to make his own arrangement to retrieve his property (and it is his now as he has refunded you) after that it is legally yours- so until then you must take due care and attention of it.
By the way I hope he has refunded your original P+P as well; as this is a legal requirement if a Business Seller and a Paypal requirement if a Private Seller.
Also check your Paypal account to be sure it has been refunded?
Offer to send the jacket back if the seller advances the return postage. And don’t buy any usb memory sticks from Hong Kong, I bought two that are fakes and poopyypal will only refund if at my own expence I send them back using a tracking service, which costs as much as the item.
(the buyer should not be paying the return postage if the item was not as described).
if they have refunded the money then its done at this point unless the seller contacts you and they would have to pay for shipment back
