There probably is a way. I recently purchased something online that was about $10 over my paypal balance – I just hit the pay now button, and got a confirmation back that the balance was taken from my first backup (which is set up as my bank account).
In your case, how about funding 50 into your paypal account from your bank account, then setting up your credit card as your first backup?

I think you can only make 2 separate payments for 1/2 each to the seller. You might want to let the seller know before you do it so they will not be confused. I’ve never tried to do that, but I use paypal regularly and have never seen any sort of option to make that happen.
