This is a warning to the public from the met, interpol and trading standards in the UK to avoid dealing with a company by the name of paypal, as we have received a number of compalints relating to fraudulent trading by this company, invloving the illegal and inapproriate freezings of its clients accounts, theft from clients, etc.
If you happen to be outside their offices one day and you see a member of their staff, please do not approacfh personally, although they are not considered likely to be armed or dangerous, but you may be alerting them to the fact we are investigating them. We are already aware and theres no need for any further action, other than not to use their services, as theres a real risk you could fall victim to them. Whilst it may be true that they do have happy clients who had no problems, there are others who are not in that fortunate position, its just a bit dodgy

2) Official information from the Police is always spelt and punctuated correctly.
3) The Police do not use Yahoo Answers to distribute information.
4) Yahoo are able to identify you and, if requested by the British Police, will do so.

Well “PC Patel” – you are quite correct – paypal do have an interesting habit of freezing accounts for no particular reason, They are trying to protect other users – but dont give a toss about sellers rights..
But – You dont really have a great deal of choice – like it or lump it…

Well said owlwings, thought it was a bit odd that mr. patel warned us not to approach any staff for risk of tipping them off, but lets just warn everyone on a public site….a slice short of a full loaf i think.
