I have won an item on ebay and the seller has told me 2 send the money via paypal 2 an alternate account. How do i do this?

Oh no. I seriously smell SPAM. You may get answers here but you did the right thing to be inquisitive. I would still recommend to goto Paypal website and find a contact number and ask them. They’ll be the best people to help you.
Check the seller’s feedback as well.

I would not do that if I were you. ebay should already be set up to pay directly into the sellers real paypal acct. just click through on ebay. otherwise, there could be a problem that the ebay account has been taken over by an account thief. The real seller will never see the money and you won’t see the merchandise. Contact ebay.

I wouldnt send it to an alternate account as that way you are not covered with buyer protection.
