I’m selling a nice laptop on craigslist and I’ve got a few emails from people over in Nigeria or across the nation who will pay extra for me to ship it to them, and they’ll pay me through paypal
but I am leary because apple ships everywhere right? and the price it would come out to is like buying it BRAND new from them…
Any one know if and how someone can scam me through paypal?
and whats your opinion?

This isn’t a new scam. I’ve sold on Ebay and can tell you that Nigeria is a hotbed of scam artists. The best advice I can give you is to sell the computer to someone locally, for cash only. Meet in person at a public place, like the police station parking lot, and bring a friend. Never accept Paypal in a situation like this because the credit card is probably stolen, and you will lose the computer and the money.
