I tried to buy something on Paypal and when I click the pay button, the error sign appears saying “This payment cannot be completed because your credit card has been denied by your credit card issuer. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer’s customer service department.” Why is this? It’s debit card not a credit card, but it should be able to be payable through paypal right?

You need to call your bank and ask them.
Maybe you need overdraft protection or sign something at your bank to let it work for you through Paypal.
