Whatever pay program you use you can get scammed always stay away from something that promises " Something for Nothing " because nothing is what you get

do not do it m8.
just let him place bets and wait until the auction finishes. he might be using a stolen card or have an access to somebody's account.
do not do fishy business with those people.
cheers,

Personally, I wouldn't do business with anyone from Nigeria -- but always remember never to ship until you receive payment. The only problem, if you receive payment from a stolen account you will probably still end up losing money. Avoid nigeria.

Why don't you save yourself a headache and add his eBay ID to your list of blocked members so he can't place any bids on your auctions. Here's the page: http://cgi1.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?bi…
Once you get scammed you won't get much help from those Indian former-prostitutes at PayPal customer service.

The answer is, you can indeed be scammed. Nigeria is one of the notorious ID theft locations in the world. They use someone elses Paypal to pay you, you ship, only to find out it is not legit. Or they offer to OVERPAY you and use some excuse to get your paypal information or bank information etc.
Don't do it.
By the way my uncle died and left 20M US dollars in an unclaimed account, if you send me your bank routing information and account number, I will deposit it. You simply forward my releative in the US 10M and you keep 10. (That is Nigeria!) Please contact me immediately for your 10M dollars.
Once they have your account, you loose!
