I’m seriously considering making a major purchase on Ebay. I always pay via Paypal. But it is linked to debit card. It has the Visa/Mastercard logo on it though. In the worst case scenario that I do not recieve my merchandise, what is my recourse and would it cause a problem that my account is linked to a debit card rather than a credit card?

I have my paypal account linked to my debit card and have never had any trouble. When you use paypal they are supposed to guarantee your purchase. It should not matter that it comes out of your bank. If you do not receive your item, paypal will refund your money if the seller does not handle the problem as they should. I have gotten a refund before.

I’ve used on on paypal for 2 years and have been fine.
