Do you avoid sites that except payments by PayPal. Is it a pain to be taken to a different site to enter your details to pay for something?

I trust paypal and though some may look down on it, I don’t think it is a bad thing to send your money through a system that will fight for you if you get screwed by the buyer.
I have never been ‘taken’ by a seller before, thank goodness, but if I had, I would be very happy to know that PayPal tracked my payment and will get me my money back.
I purchased a motorcycle part off of eBay for my friend and they flagged it as “Possible Fraud” becasue I had never purchased from that section and it had been quite some time since I had used my PayPal.
They made me confirm my info to make sure that I was the REAL person making the payment.
I like that…
It may have made me lose a half an hour of my valuable time but it is better that they checked then to process payments and not give a damn like my credit card companies.
There have been a couple of times that I actually LEFT A SITE because they did not offer pay by paypal.
I ended up finding what I wanted cheaper elsewhere and was able to pay by paypal so it saved me some $$ but I would have purchased from website 1 if they had offered paypal.
Actually, I am more apt to buy if there is a paypal button. Since I already have a paypal account, it is easier for me to buy something with paypal and I don’t have to worry about entering my credit card info on the internet again. There have been many times I did not make a purchase because I couldn’t use paypal and didn’t want to use my credit card.
I LOOK for paypal! I feel pretty secure with paypal, and HIGHLY recommend it!
