I want to buy something online. My paypal has $22 in it as balance. My credit card is connected to it. If I buy something, does it get charged to paypal balance? Or my credit card? Thanks.

if you have a paypal balance it will use that first and then paypal charges the rest to your credit card.
lets say it costs $100. It will use the $22 balance leaving a remaining $78. Then paypal charges your credit card for the last $78.
It uses your balance first, then your checking or credit card.
