I just sold somthing on ebay and they payed by paypal so where does my money go? And if it goes onto my paypal account does that mean it goes on my card which i registered on paypal?

When you accept a paypal payment, the money is taken from the buyers Paypal account, checking account, or credit card, and put into your Paypal account. From there, you can use Paypal to purchase something on Ebay or other online merchants that accept Paypal, or you can send someone else money. If you want to withdraw the funds, you can have a check sent to you (I believe there is a fee for that) or you can have the money transferred to your personal bank account. That takes a few days.
I recently applied for their debit card, so I can have immediate access to my money.

It stays in your Paypal account until you transfer it to your bank account or you can spend it online directly from your paypal account. It give you an option to “Withdraw” where you can transfer it.
On your paypal account page at the top there is a withdraw button follow the instructions and it will be transferred to your card.
It does not get transferred out of PayPal until you request a cheque or a bank transfer out of your account (or unless you spend it on something else online)
