I bought something for $11 and i had $18 on my paypal balance, when i pay does it automaticially take the $11 out from my balance?

yes..if what you bought was more than your paypal balance, the rest of the money would be deducted from the account your paypal was linked to (a checking or credit card account)

The amount would only be deducted from your PayPal account if you chose to use PayPal as your method of payment for that particular purchase.
It’s not a automatic deduction simply because you have bothan eBay and PayPal account. YOU have to activate that specific deduction for the purchase.
