If you sent it as a credit card payment or out of your PayPal balance, it is IMMEDIATELY credited to the receiver.
If via your bank account, it takes 3-5 days to clear.
EXCEPT… if you cancel your membership it will NOT stop the payment. That would be fraud.
YOU have to CANCEL the payment, not your membership…
