I added my credit card to my Paypal account. I am wondering if I pay someone on Ebay using Paypal, if I need to add funds from my credit card to the Paypal account, or if the funds will automatically be taken from the credit card.

I’ve been using Paypal for 10 years. I have never added funds to the account.
I regularly use my credit card through the account to pay for things.
you have to add funds through your paypal account to buy things on ebay through paypal method of payment
. Go to paypal website, log into your account and add funds there. Once you done this ebay will automatically take money from your paypal account to pay for you ebay purchses. HOWEVER, there is a an option on ebay where you can:
1 pay for purchases through pay pal using your bank account which takes money directly from your bank account
OR
2. Use paypal through the use of your credit card.
You must activate one these paypal payment options on your ebay account settings but if you didnt register your bank account on your pay pal account then it will use your credit card instead.
Uusally when you go through ‘checkout’ on ebay (once you buy the item ) it will say what payment options are you willing to use to pay for the item…you should tick the paypal method and it should show your credit card details that shoukd be the same as the details on your pay pal account on the paypal website.
