I Want To Buy Online, How Do I Know If A Financial Transaction Company Like Paypal, Or Alertpay Is Authentic?

I’ve read that there are some fake sites, that really look like the original. They claim to handle your online transactions, but really they just want to get your information -like Credit card and email info etc. How do I find out if the site is the original?

Paypal is secure. They charge 3% for a website to do their transactions through them. This charge (for the producer) guarantees that the transaction will be 100% safe. If the person you are ordering from turns out to be shady, which they sometime do, paypal will refund your purchase.

It is hard to tell the difference between an authentic site and a real one. The phony sites almost always have some type of bad grammar and misspellings.
They look very much like the real one, though.
In order to protect yourself if you can do a search for the real site yourself and go to it directly without going to a site that has popped up or has been sent through an email.
The website below may have more “techical” answers.
I don’t have any experience with Pay Pal. If I wanted to use an alternative way to pay I’d get a Green Dot card.
