I asked the seller to end auction ealry if I paid a good price, so he did. But I havent received my item. I paid with Paypal, and was wondering if Paypal would refund my money for something I paid for outside of Ebay because there is no binding contract.

Yes they should do but you can also file a report with ebay stating your brouht item out of auction etc. and they can give you sellers address etc.. so you can go through small claims court if it quite a bit of money.
Because the transaction was not done within eBay ( a violation of the rules ), I suspect you are not going to get any help from PayPal.
But if the seller has good feedback and is honest ( like the majority on eBay ), you’ll get the item.

paypal is paypal – has nothing to do with paying thru ebay – it’s still paypal and ebay owns paypal
