i prefer to pay via paypal because i have the funds, i dont want to withdraw the money to my bank account as i dont have the time because i am going away in a few days..
please tell me the fee for sending £1000..

There will be no fee for you to make the payment but the recipient will be charged 3.4% of the amount you send, assuming that they have a Premier (or Business) PayPal account.
So it will cost them £34 to receive the money from you.
