分类: PayPal FAQ   时间: 2010-02-21   标签: , , , , ,

I am selling an item and this guy online says this…
“Hi, how about me sending you a paypal payment or money order for this item because am out of town. Please provide me with your paypal e mail or your full name and address so i can send money order.I will include shipping cost to my pastor’s address when sending payment.I hope he will love this as a birthday gift.Hoping to hear from you soon.”
Is this a scam if not how do i work with this?

I’m always wary of people that don’t follow the instructions on my eBay page and provide irrelevant details like “ pastor’s address
Your call, but I would investigate carefully.

If the payment is paid in full to your pay pal account and he won the item. always get the money first by requesting pay pal send you a check for the amount or have it deposited into your bank account, once you received the payment than ship out the item. If the winner wants the item shipped to somewhere else i see no problem with this, i have done it plenty of times and also requested an item be shipped out to another address myself. Do not send the item out until the payment is accounted for never ship out an item before the payment is in your hands.

it’s a scam, otherwise he would’ve clicked purchase and paypal would’ve shown who paid for your item/s,furthermore paypal only send items to registered addresses of it’s customers to prevent scams like such.

Definitely a scam, craigslist has several examples of scams that are sent to individuals email accounts.

Most likely a scam. I get those kinds of e-mails off of craigslist all the time.
