The problem is: the sell ended. do i have to add money to my paypal account? it says that money transfer will take nearly 5-7 days. will i be able to buy item after 7 days?

Get in touch with the seller via the messaging feature. Ask them if they want you to mail a money order or transfer some cash to paypal. The seller will tell you what they want you to do.
when that happen paypal goes to the primary account you linked

if its bank account it goes there to get the money if its a debit/credit
card it goes there to get the money
so what every method you used to link paypal is how
you will pay for the item on ebay
