I am in Singapore and have people making payment to me through paypal. Is it possible to withdraw the money without opening a bank account in america and have the money directly into my singapore bank account?

yupp it’s possible.
I am in singapo also and i use paypal regularly for ebay transactions. the amount balance in your paypal balance can either
1) be used to pay for other stuff u use paypal to pay for
2) be transferred into a sg bank a/c from DBS/OCBC/UOB (for a fee, the bigger amount u transfer, the more fee u pay, but it’s quite nominal, like a couple of dollars, check the paypal site for the actual transaction costs). It could also be wired to your bank account that is linked to the credit card u place on paypal. OR (this i ain totally sure, cos a friend told me this) you could request them to send you the funds direct, via a money order or check, but the fees for this option is higher than if u wire it directly into a SG bank.

When your bank and card details are verified by Paypal, ask them to transfer funds to the verified bank account. Remember that Paypal almost always takes too long to transfer funds. Even local UK transfers would take more than two to six weeks. Also remember that it is almost impossible to contact any big corporate by email. Good luck.
