I am a new ebay user and I was wondering two things: What could I use to weigh shipping packages and how would use paypal for receiving payment? I am currently a paypal user but I just wanted to verify that when the buyer clicks pay w/ paypal, I will automatically receive the payment.

When payment is made, it goes into a PayPal account. You will need to transfer the money from PayPal to your checking account.

Use a scale. You can get a cheap (15.00-25.00) postage scale from Staples or Office Max.
EBay go to My account and under that is Preferences click on that and add your paypal email address. If you have any questions email me my wife and I are experienced Ebay users. Good Luck.
By the way Paypal is an Ebay company so they are very compatible.
Staples sells a decent scale for $100. Its not for legal tender but gets within .1 lbs. Keep in mind shipping rates round up to the next lb.
ie. weighs 1.1 lbs, its 2 lbs.
Also factor in oversize and DIM weights… search on your carriers site to find the information.
