My web designer is trying to develop an e-commerce site for me , something she is new at. We are using Paypal for check-out.
She has created the check out features for paypal, however the button “CONTINUE SHOPPING” does not work ( it reads ” PLEASE OPEN A NEW BROWSER TO CONTINUE SHOPPING )
Why is this ? I am not a developer, but i will forward any questions to her that may help her in resolving this problem

To send a request for payment to PayPal, you need to format your message correctly!
Make your life easier: go to PayPal ONLY when the user has completed ALL his/her purchases. DON’T use PayPal Basket!
So, collect all items, show the total of the basket, edit it if need be, confirm your purchase, click “Pay through PayPal”, then submit a form with just the total. When you came back from paypal, you STILL have the basket’s details!
Here is the (MINIMUM) format, for a ONE of value (one item or a group of item, just the total price):
//——–
This was written for php.
The variables:
$PPbusiness: your PayPla account (the one to credit)
$total: the total amount to pay.
$PPreturn: the FILENAME of your “accepted payment-page” (i.e. “paidok.php”)
$PPcancel: the filename of your “rejectee payment-page” (ie “cancelled.php”)
—-
paidok.php
echo “Thanks”"
—-
cancelled.php
echo “sorry!”
