I’m in US. I only buy from ebay, and now I have only 4 positive feebacks with 100%.
Now I want to sell something. How can I get/purchase buyer paypal protection around US$500 so that buyer can trust me since I’ve never sold stuff in ebay?

You can’t purchase protection through eBay or paypal. Let them know you will use delivery confirmation and get the insurance through the post office or ship through a place like UPS and they will insure for up to a certain amount at no additional charge.
You don’t purchase buyer protection. You must accept Paypal and follow their seller protection rules to be covered.
1. Ship within 7 days of receiving cleared payment.
2. Get online viewable tracking (delivery confirmation). You can purchase and print your shipping label with Paypal.
3. Signature Confirmation is required for any item $250 or more.
4. You must ship to the buyer’s confirmed Paypal address. (Put this in your auction listing)
If you follow those rules, you’ll be fine.
Also, remember to set your Buyer Requirements — My eBay, Account, Selling Preferences.
Block buyers from countries to which you do not ship; block buyers with a feedback score of -1 or lower; block buyers who don’t have a Paypal account.
