I’ve won an item on eBay and I now have to pay for it. The seller is going to add something extra with it, I’m paying a little extra money for this. I’m going to pay with PayPal but don’t know how to add a little more money for the extra item. Is this even possible?

I never heard of it before. ebay and pay pal are owned by the same company. I know you can invoice a buyer straight through pay pal. ebay likes to track all their sales so they get a final value fee on anything sold through their site. According to ebay rules they ask that you do not complete transactions outside of ebay, and to report anyone doing so. That is because they loose money though.
I have thrown something in for free, to a customer who won a certain item I was auctioning. The reason was the customer wanted both items, and it was not going to pay me to re-list the item to try and sell it. ebay charges a listing fee and a final value fee, once the item goes to pay pal they take a % of the money they collect for you.
The only way the person can add extra fee’s is either by placing it in the shipping and handling charges or invoicing you separately rather than send a invoice straight from ebay via pay pal.
