I recently purchased an item & used paypal to pay,but have not yet been contacted by seller, after several emails going un answered for 5 days now.He was also a first time seller( 0 feedback), can I reverse the transaction?

Its extremely safe provided you dont reply to phising emails and enter your passwords on fake sites – always go to http://www.ebay.com(.co.uk etc) or paypal.com direct by tying them into your browser or by using bookmarks, dont click on any links in emails that look like theyre from ebay
Next time, check the feedback of the person youre buying from. Anyone half serious about selling doesnt just make an account and sell – I bought about 50 things before I started selling anything; and wont buy from anyone with less than 20 at the very least.
You can dispute the transaction inside paypal and they’ll probably take the money straight back out of their paypal account or bank account; they seem to favour the buyer in most cases, but it takes ages. If its only a few bucks/quid just forget about it and call it lesson learnt
You have to file an “Item not recieved dispute.” You can do this on Ebay. They will help you try to contact the seller and do what they can to get you your money back. I’ve been using Ebay for about two years now. I’ve had to do this twice and both times I was able to get my money back. You can also file the dispute through PayPal but both sites will work together regardless to get you your money back. I always just file through Ebay.
pay pal is safe .check your self that on paying did you get id no of the song you purchased or any proof which you can submit latter to aks about your enquiry.
i dont think you can… you can try… paypal isnt very safe to use. especially if that person is a first time user. sorry. nex time only buy from people that have a lot of previous feedback and ebaying exeriance.
While paypal has its issues, you should be ok as long as the item was not worth more than 200 dollars as I believe that that is the max amount paypal will reimburse against somone with no feedback.
