First time user of eBay and found out that i have to pay PayPal if i want to sell something. How much would i have to pay them each time? Is there a fixed amount or does it vary according to the product? Any info. on eBay will be helpful. Thanks

First you have to pay to list your item, which can be pretty much anything up from 10 cents.
Ebay take different percentage cuts from your item depending on which country you’re selling from, the account type, and how much the item sold for. Auctions under $25 in the USA cost 8.75% of the closing value. The fee structure can be found here: http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/fees.html
On top of that you’ll be charged another 2.9% by PayPal (if your items sell for less than $1000). You don’t *have* to use PayPal as a seller, but it’s a lot easier for your buyers, and it’s very secure
TripleClicks is similar to Ebay in that you can buy and sell used and new products securely. They handle the transactions so you can buy and sell in confidence.
When you sell an item, there is no time limit on your listing, which costs from as little as 19 cents per item.
Money earned can be spent buying from other users or in the TripleClicks store. To withdraw cash comes at a nominal fee, but as long as you’re withdrawing more than $25 in one go it works out cheaper than Ebay’s standard final value fee.

Ebay is where most of your fees will come from and depending on how you list your items for sale depends on your fees. There are 3 main fees…Ebay Listing Fees, Ebay Final Value Fees (if item sells) & Paypal fees just to give you an example a Buy it now $49.99 listings costs me .35 cents to list that’s my listing fee then when the item sales I get charged a $6.00 final value fee and then Paypal charges me $1.75 so my $49.99 but it now listing costs $8.10 total in fees. It really all varies though depending on how you list and what price ranges you use ebay has charts that explain what all the fees will be so its best to just print them out
