Does the payment go directly into your bank account? Or is there a certain period of time you have to wait while paypal transfers it to your bank account?

paypal will transfer it to you. don’t worry it will come.
If you are getting money from someone else to your paypal it is immediate.
If it is an e-check from someone it will take 3-6 days to clear.
If you are sending from your paypal to your bank, it is 3-4 days but you have to go to your paypal account and click tranfer and send it.

Requiring immediate payment means the buyer has to pay immediately to be able to buy the item. ebay will take the buyer directly to Paypal to pay. Once the item was bought, seller will receive the payment in his/her Paypal account. There is no waiting period.
The buyers payment immediately goes into your paypal account. Then you have to go to Paypal to transfer the funds into your bank account. In my experience it usually takes around 1-2 days for it to show up in my account.
It goes directly into your paypal account not your banking account. It is instant as soon as the other person clicks send UNLESS they sent you an Echeck which takes four days to clear into your paypal account.
Paypal sells on ebay do not go directly into your bank account.
