I recently set up a Paypal account and I was just curious as to how long it takes to activate it. I know it says 3-5 days, but you can never trust those time periods they give you.

You can start using it immediately, but you have about a $500 limit. Once you get your Credit Card or bank statement, a small code appears on it, You use that code to confirm your PayPal account.
