I have a paypal account, and make regular transfers to my natwest account.
It takes 5 days, unfortunately its not a quick process!
From PayPals own help:
Banks in the United Kingdom
Five to Seven Working Days
Banks in the US
Three to Four Working Days
Theres actually a table on the Paypal site (but you need to be logged in), the address is below. You can select the day you made the transfer, and it shows you when it will go into your account.
about 72 hours
If it’s the free option it could take upwards of a week- not very efficient
