Well, a new bank just opened up in my town, and I’m trying to add it to my paypal, cause I just opened an account there. It says my transit number or institution number is incorrect. I went to the bank and they said it could take a while to get into the system. Anyone know how long, or any other reasons its not working.
TD CANADA TRUST is my bank. Sorry bout the caps, but I dont feel like erasing. ummmm.. Thats about it, thanks

when I first signed up for paypal it took about 3 days. Careful though, you may receive a bogus email from paypal asking you to verify your new account. It will not have your name in the greeting, it will say something like “paypal customer”. Paypal always uses your first name in the greeting.
Confirming a Canadian bank account can take as many as 5 – 7 business days. PayPal sends two small deposits between $.01 and $.99 CAD to your bank account. Once you receive these deposit amounts, you plug them into your PayPal account and your bank will be confirmed.
It completely depends on how it takes your bank to receive and place the deposits into your account.
