PayPal is basically an intermediary between you and the website that you are purchasing from. Personally, I love PayPal. You can set up PayPal payments with a bank account if you want. It’s great b/c you don’t have to give weird websites any information. They just get paid by PayPal, which then transfers the bill over to you. It is the MOST secure way to buy online. I believe you can even transfer funds directly to your PayPal account, so that instead of linking PayPal to a credit card or bank account, you just have a balance on PayPal, but I’ve never used it that way, so I’m not sure about that.
You can go on the Paypal site, and see for yourself. However, you have to have a credit card to secure your payments.
