How Does Paypal Deduct Its Fees From You?

I am going to open a premier account on paypal. I was wondering if paypal took the money directly from your account or if the charged your credit card, same thing with ebay! (Wondering how they will get their fees)

both take the fees from the seller, not the buyer. With ebay you have to have a credit card or bank account on file for the fees. Paypal deducts the fees out of each individual payment you receive.

I think you have to have a credit card on file at PayPal as a backup.
They will deduct first from any balance you have, then tap your checking account you set up, or lastly your credit card, in that order.
I try to avoid letting them ding my bank account. My ebay charges go to my credit card.
