I want to bid on some items on ebay and i just created a personal account with paypal. I just wanted some detail on how it all works if you win the bid and if the personal account is all I need or should i upgrade?

by using paypal, the seller never has access to any of your personal info. If you are only an occasional ebayer, then a personal account is all you need. Paypal is also the best way to sell items. you get paid immediately and the transactions are very easy. Alot of online businesses outside of ebay use paypal too. This just makes buying online very safe and easy.
If you are just a bidder you do not need to upgrade. When you are a seller? You might want to upgrade but remember, PayPal charges you to receive money if you are a business. I signed up as a business and if my son loans me $20? PayPal charges me to receive it. BUT you can get a PayPal Debit card as a business and that helps when you are out shopping!
If you are buying, personal is what you want. If you are *selling* you need the premiere account.
