for ebay you need a checking account or i use a prepaid card that way im protected against possible ovecharges.

It is very safe! I sell and buy on ebay and paypal is very secure. They have also added a new icon that you can download that insures when you get mail from paypal it is verified, secure and authentic. You can sign for paypal by using your bank routing information. Once that is verified you can add funds to your account or use an E-Check to pay for your item. This allows paypal to run a automatic debit from your bank account and pay for your item. Or many sellers allow you to pay with cc or money order. You can have your package sent straight to your home. Just provide your address and it will come either to your house or where ever you get your mail. Hope you enjoy-eBay is fun and safe!

To use Ebay all you need is the account and a working credit card, you register for paypal using that card, money is transferred more securely that way. They deliver it to your house, but it might cost more for you depending who you buy from.

I used to buy a lot of Barbies from Ebay. I kinda got sick of it. But I only had ONE seller give me problems but I got my money back by reporting her to the internet version of the FBI. (I live in the USA) The FBI is our Federal Police…basically.
Paypal required you have a bank account that has been verified.
It works great! Just rad the feed back of the seller before you buy. It’s pretty telling. If the previous customers say he’s bad news…he is!

If you want to purchase something from ebay you have to set up an account, you don’t have to have a paypal account if the seller is ok with other forms of payment. But if you need a paypal account you need a few days to set it up. You just sign up and you will need to give them banking info that will require being verified and then transfer funds to your paypal account from your bank account so you can pay for things on ebay. Depending on where your ordering from it can take 2 – 15 days to receive your purchase. It depends too, you usually have to pay the shipping and might be able to choose a faster method. They will deliver it to your home or where ever you want but it’s best to receive it at the same address as you have on your ebay and paypal accounts or they won’t insure it, and some sellers might not want to sell to you, it can delay things.
