Paypal will directly deposit money into your checking account, but you have to initiate the transfer yourself.
Although Chase would not consider that as a regular source of income, unless you can prove that you are self employed and that IS your income. Direct deposit must be made on the same day for the pay periods… if you cant make those regular type of direct deposits, they will charge you.
If you have a regular job, try asking your employer to see if they can set up DD for you, most banks don’t charge the employer for that, they encourage it.
