I want to buy something from a person out of state and he said that he needs to recieve the money via paypal. I never used paypal and dont know how do to it.

You simply go to the paypal website and set up an account. If the person request that you use paypal, then have them send you an invoice or money request through paypal. Once this is received you click on the pay now button, and that’s all. Very simple and secured, I have been using paypal for 9 years with no problems. Your information is safe and secure, I like paypal because you can dispute the transaction if the purchase is not what the person claimed. Also use a credit card, and you can dispute the purchase with your credit card company.
ADD ON: Just so you know the person in the other state only needs your email address associated with your paypal account to send the money request…do not share your password, etc.
As mentioned above you can setup a paypal account for yourself. You will only give paypal either any personal info or bank info or credit card info, it is up to you when you set up your paypal account. Once you have a paypal account you can send money to anyone else who has a paypal account if you know their email address. It has to be the email address they told paypal to use. There probably will be a fee that paypal charges to the seller/acceptor of the money. Paypal can be used by many internet sellers, companies and the whatnot to protect your personal info. Paypal currently owns Ebay or the other way around as you can only pay ebay seller via paypal now. Also if you are not happy with what you have paid for, paypal does have a mediation factor that you can request your money back.
If you go to PayPal’s website, you can open an account for free. It costs nothing and is a very reliable way to exchange money. When paying for something, you can pay directly from your checking account or charge it to a credit card. The choice is yours. What’s important is that the person you buy from will never see your financial details. PayPal will simply pay the person the amount that you agree to.
